Hello, I’m Audya Amalia (b. 1996), a visual artist based in Bandung, Indonesia.
I began my artistic journey in 2014 and completed my studies in Sculpture at the
Faculty of Art and Design, Bandung Institute of Technology in 2019. Throughout
my creative process, I have been drawn to various mediums, including sculpture,
installation, and fiber art.
Over the past five years, I have adopted a working method that involves
relational aesthetics and a dialogical approach. This approach has allowed me
to engage with diverse stories and experiences from people of varying ages and
ethnic backgrounds.
I also have a strong interest in topics related to domestic life, history, and spirituality.
